The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Director, Program Management with a strong track record in the biotech industry. In this role, you will ensure the successful timely execution of our antibody therapeutic programs by working closely with Scientific Leads and program teams. As Director, Program Management, you will take ownership in guiding teams in prioritization, monitoring progress, and ensuring alignment on activities, timelines and resources. You will play a key role in maintaining program momentum by proactively identifying delays, addressing resource bottlenecks, to ensure timely delivery of milestones.
Your key responsibilities:
- Drive execution of antibody therapeutic programs with the Scientific Lead, aligning priorities, activities, timelines and budgets across cross-functional teams.
- Track program progress and milestones, escalating to senior management with the Scientific Lead when timelines or critical milestones are at risk.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and coordinate mitigation actions to maintain program momentum and delivery of key objectives.
- Support development of target product profiles and integrated drug development plans, aligning scientific objectives with development activities.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment, ensuring clear communication and coordination across program members.
Your Profile
You have a flexible attitude that blends in with the entrepreneurial nature of Gyes as a start-up biotech. You meet the following requirements:
- MSc or PhD in biomedical sciences, pharmacy, immunology, cell biology, life sciences or related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in program management, preferably in the biotech industry.
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder management.
- Strong knowledge of the drug development trajectory, from early discovery up to the clinical phase.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional programs and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Experience in team development and people management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and driving accountability within project teams.
- Knowledge of antibody therapeutics development is strongly preferred.
